Occupation: Florist - owns a flower shop named "Queen Rose" in one of Castelia City's smaller shopping districts. Launders money for Apellon through her relatively busy shop.

Town of Residence: Castelia City, Unova

Personality:

Lucille is, generally, a very quiet and reserved lady in person, preferring the company of a good book or a cup of tea to that of another living, breathing creature. Any attempt at striking up a conversation with her is almost instantly denied with a usually unfriendly response and quick dismissal. Overall, she comes across as incredibly apathetic. Of course... Anybody who does manage to get more than a few words out of her usually soon regrets it. It's not exactly that she says anything inherently mean, per say, just... Things that people might not want to hear; they could even be considered morbid, perhaps, dark in their theme and entirely unpleasant when it comes to trying to partake in small talk. Even with these darker themes, Lucille is notably eloquent and thoughtful when it comes to what she's saying, even if it is an eloquently said reiteration of 'go jump in front of a bus.' All in all, she's just not a people person

One thing to note, however, is that this behavior is especially directed to older people, and most harshly to actual adults. When it comes to children, Lucille tends to be much softer in her demeanor, though still managing to drop the uncomfortably dark word or two out of habit and simply being... Well, her. Kids seem to be some of the only company she can stand, and sometimes even welcomes their presence. Lucille herself, while mature most all of the time, does have a few childish quirks which are mostly observed in her love for sweets.

And yet, despite her overall distaste for people... She sometimes seems to enjoy herself with quick witted responses, often times directing jabs and quips at people seemingly just for the fun of it. It appears she just has a hard time holding her tongue when someone says something she finds particularly idiotic.

History:

Lucille doesn't remember too much; she just knows that her first memory is that of being a small, young litwick inside what appeared to be a long-time abandoned house, that her name was Lucille, and that she was completely and utterly alone. Of course, even from that point, she didn't exactly care. She liked the silence, the emptiness, all of it. The house was hers to do with as she pleased, and that was fine with her... To a point. Being only a young Litwick, Lucille was unable to do anything when it came to the condition of her home which was rapidly beginning to deteriorate.

One night, there was an especially strong storm with wind that Lucille had come to accept was most likely going to destroy her home, and quite possibly her along with it. Being Lucille, it wasn't exactly hard for her to accept it--things like that happened sometimes, didn't they? Now, that's not to say that she wasn't the least bit upset about it. That would simply be a lie. Just as she was sure one more gust would send the fragile structure toppling over... Well, it didn't. Lucille, of course, was very confused about that, and her only clue as to what was holding the house together was the faint light surrounding it and its wooden foundation. From the few Pokemon she'd encountered in and around the house (that she of course did her best to chase off), Lucille had learned that that normally happened when a Pokemon was using psychic to lift something... How odd.

Once the storm had passed, Lucille went to find the Pokemon that had saved her home, and found a rather gruesome, ancient looking Hypno standing at the entrance. The two stared at each other for what probably would have been an uncomfortable amount of time for anobody else before Lucille simply turned and retreated back into the house, the Hypno following quietly inside. From that point on, the two lived there together. It was beneficial to both of them, seeing as the Hypno gave the impression to Lucille that he'd been lonely for some time now, and Lucille benefited from the Hypno's knowledge. She'd never been able to control her natural ability as a Litwick to steal life away from things, something she resented as it kept her from being able to get too close to the rose bushes in front of her home. She'd always loved the way they looked, but any time she got too close for too long, the roses would start to wilt. With the Hypno's help, however, she was able to learn to control it, giving her the ability to finally look at and care for the roses.

As time went on, humans began to discover the abandoned house. As humans tend to be curious, it became quite the popular place for people to explore, usually running home soon after with an incredibly terrifying story to tell their friends--well, the adults did, that is. Lucille found herself more fond of the intrusion of children than that of adults, finding the innocent curiosity of children simply wanting to explore interesting and not something to be bothered by. She often would approach children who entered, making her own presence known before her much scarier looking Hypno companion did. Once the children were comfortable with them, the two would lead the children through the house and show them various things before they decided to return home. Often times the same children would come back multiple times to play with Lucille. For the adults and older teenagers who came exploring and often times attempting to destroy property, however... They were never there for very long. They didn't want to be.

One day, while seeing to the roses in front of her home, Lucille watched as a single Tranquill descended noisily into one of the bushes lining her home. A little annoyed about all of the noise, Lucille began to approach the bush from behind as the Tranquill exited... And, in a bright flash of light, turned into a human? When the human started to walk away, Lucille immediately attacked from behind. With surprise on her side, it was easy enough for her to incapacitate them long enough to threaten them into explaining everything to her. It was in this way that she learned about the dittech. She agreed to release the Tranquill if it returned with one for her... And the poor thing must really have thought she would track it down, because return with a dittech it did!

The dittech she received was one hacked by Apellon, after receiving an explanation about what that meant, Lucille decided she liked that just fine. Being on a grid didn't really suit her style. Now with her new dittech, Lcuille acquired her human form and learned to adjust quite quickly with some added help from her Hypno companion. A lot of what she knew about acting human came from her interactions with the children that visited and from the dusty old books and items in the abandoned house that the Hypno had helped her to understand.

Lucille grew to prefer this new human form the Dittech allowed her to have, and at the prompting of the Hypno, she decided to try it out in a more 'natural' setting. Leaving her old home under the care of the Hypno and promising to return on occasion, Lucille made her way into the world. Adjusting came easy to her, but making money... Not so much. She couldn't stand part-time jobs, but eventually struck a deal with Apellon. They provided her a flower shop front with an apartment above it in exchange for overseeing smallscale but frequent money laundering through it, which worked fine for her. She didn't particularly care about breaking the law, after all.

Relationships:

Belle - One of the very, very few people that Lucille can stomach. Lucille enjoys small talk and tea with Belle, finding solace in the presence of someone with some freaking common sense.
Hypno - The old Hypno that lived with her in her old home. She's incredibly fond of him and visits him regularly. One day, she plans to convince him to try out a dittech for himself, even though they'll have to think up a name for him. She likes the sound of Hildegard.

Extras:

- Easily swayed with tea. Really. If you want her to do something, just make her some tea.
Can also be bribed with sweets and candy, if they're the right kind. Make sure you don't give her dark chocolate. She will be offended.
A competent fighter, even if she looks dainty. She just prefers not to get her hands dirty if she can help it.
- Not to say that she won't if she needs to. Or if you keep annoying her.
- The easiest way to get on her bad side is to be inconsiderate of flowers and other vegetation in front of her.
- Can and will stab you with the end of her parasol. It's made for self defense, after all!
- Somehow, she seems to conveniently disappear every time something weird happens...
